Santa Elena in Rio Grande Valley is widely known because of the sheer limestone walls and the iconic Rock Slide Rapid. Rafting Santa Elena Canyon is a real test of your rafting skills due to the increased challenges of the rapids. All rapids must be carefully negotiated.

The place offers stunning views of the spectacular canyons and beautiful coves. Remember to carry plenty of extra batteries and films since you will take a lot of pictures. You will explore a lot of sites such as coves, ancient Indian pictographs, and side canyons.
